Music Video: "Hello Howya Doin" - Fowl

I have already said I am stupid impressed by this kid (though I'm only what, 3 years older, so not the point), Fowl is really talented and lyrically killing a lot of rappers that have been doing this for years. Yesterday he released a music video for his joint "Hello Howya Doin," I believe it's something that is going to be on his upcoming project but don't quote me. It's directed by Pierre Blake and produced by Hir-O. Am I the only one that thinks this 18-year-old has major potential?

Yay or Nay: Say It - P.H.I.L.T.H.Y.

So there's this rapper by the name of P.h.i.l.t.h.y, pronounced like 'filthy' but his name has kind of a deeper meaning: Phenomenal Hip-Hop Individual Living Through His Years. He's from Michigan (I believe Lansing however I could be very wrong) and attended Michigan State. According to his Myspace page he's supposed to be going to Africa this fall (DOOOOOOOOPE!) I heard of him earlier this year through Ketchum and have been looking forward to the things that he has coming. He leaked this song on his Twitter at midnight and naturally I had to post it on here. Yay or Nay: Say it - P.h.i.l.t.h.y.

Nitty Gritty - Gladys Knight and the Pips

I actually enjoy posting about Young Slapz because the comments on these posts are often funny. Well, Slapz along with two ambitious friends, aspiring producer M. Dizz and DJ Bonecrusher, formed the Nitty Gritty Committee (how fun is that to say?) So yes, he has two more people at his side learning the ins and outs, dos and don'ts of the rap game. The 3 are currently int he early (and I'm talking premature early) stages of getting a mixtape together though they do have a mark-up cover ready (which is the photo that you're looking at...) to go. They plan on dropping it in the fall around back to school time and of course there will be updates throughout their process here.
